12/12 – Provident Bank show – I have four photographs on display in the group show “See What I Saw” at The Provident Bank in Hampton, NH. This show includes 30 images by nine members of the NHAA Photo Group. The Provident Bank’s Hampton branch is located at 321 Lafayette Road, Hampton NH 03842. The show runs from Dec 10, 2011 – Mar 3, 2012, and the show hours are M–F 8am–7pm, Sat 9am–1pm and Sun 10am–2pm. The reception is on Thursday Jan 26, 2012 from 5:30–7pm.
9/28 – Web site redesigned – markesterly.com has been redesigned! It’s now based on WordPress, using a modified version of the Twenty Ten theme.
9/2 – Parfitt show – Two of my images, Parking lot rhythms, Denver, 2011 and Old glory, Denver, 2011 – are on display at the Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery in Portsmouth as part of the New Hampshire Art Association’s 32nd Annual Parfitt Open Juried Photography Exhibition. I have to say, there are lots of excellent photographs in this year’s show. I was told there were roughly 160 submissions, from which 60 were selected by the juror. I feel fortunate that both of my submissions were chosen. This year’s Parfitt show is worth seeing; it ends September 30th.
